How to properly use a stripper clip:

st2

1. Here is what you will need:

  • GI mag of any capacity
  • stripper clip guide
  • loaded stripper clip

Place the stripper clip guide on the top, rear of the mag as shown.

st4

Then place the loaded stripper clip into the guide.

Grip the mag tightly with one hand and pull the rounds into the clip with the other. (For the lazy folks... you can also grip the mag and push the rounds up against something instead of using your hand.)

st6

As you pull on the rounds, they will bend the small retaining tab on the stripper clip and allow the rounds to feed into the mag.

Keep pulling until all the round have fed into the mag. Repeat the above steps with new loaded stripper clips until the mag is loaded.

Here is a little tip:

When reloading the stripper clips, don't bend the tabs all the way up (90 deg). If you bend them half way (45 deg), the clips will last longer.
